The company developed in 1999 from the IT department of an international industrial group based in the region. The initial focus was on ERP applications and ORACLE databases. However, the company also worked intensively on eCommerce applications for the Internet and their integration into existing merchandise management systems.
In 2000, a joint venture with hmmh multimediahaus AG, multimediahaus Oldenburg Gesellschaft für interaktive Medien mbH, was founded.
In 2004, the company BT IT-Service GmbH was founded, an IT service provider with extensive know-how covering the areas of IT service.
At the beginning of 2014, all companies were merged with BT-IT GmbH. The aim of the merger was to bundle strengths and create efficient corporate structures for customers, suppliers and employees.
Since 15.05.2014, all companies have been managed under BT-IT GmbH.
