As a universal bank, Bremer Landesbank performs the tasks of a commercial bank for a broad spectrum of customers. It is also the state bank for the federal state of Bremen and the giro center for 14 savings banks in its business area. This includes the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and, in Lower Saxony, the districts of Ammerland, Aurich, Cloppenburg, Cuxhaven, Diepholz, Friesland, Leer, Oldenburg (OL), Osterholz, Rotenburg (Wümme), Vechta, Verden, Wesermarsch, Wittmund and the independent cities of Delmenhorst, Emden, Oldenburg (OL) and Wilhelmshaven. It works for the states of Bremen and Lower Saxony as well as for the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, the Deutsche Ausgleichsbank and the European Investment Bank in the processing of development programs.
Know-how:
Bremer Landesbank is the first German financial institution to be certified that its asset management is clear and transparent. The IVS (Institut für Vermögensschutz GmbH) examined the bank in detail and awarded the certificate for 100% transparent and fair asset management, 2016/17.
