Founded in Kettenkamp in 1933, Herrmann Lüdecke GmbH & Co KG is still an owner-managed family business steeped in tradition. What began as a small transport company in the Osnabrücker Land region has developed over the years into a company with a wide range of services. In addition to trading in fuels and building materials and the extraction of sand and gravel in the early years, the processing and distribution of industrial by-products from steel production was added.
From the mid-1960s, the Lüdecke company increasingly specialized in the preparation, processing and sale of electric arc furnace slag (EOS for short). This activity has been the focus of our company ever since. The production of high-grade chippings for asphalt production also emerged during this time. The EOS aggregates we produce are a high-quality alternative to natural aggregates and have excellent construction properties.
They are particularly suitable as frost protection or gravel base layers for heavily used surfaces and roads as well as for high-quality chippings in a wide range of asphalt applications. As a substitute for natural aggregates, EOS is a „renewable raw material“ in the spirit of sustainability, natural resources are conserved and industrial by-products are reused.
Motivated and committed employees, the constant expansion of production facilities and continuous optimization of production processes and certifications guarantee a high standard of performance and quality today. With an annual processing of approx. 150,000 tons of electric furnace slag and currently 42 employees, Lüdecke is today a modern company with decades of experience and tradition!
