Freelance work in Jade, near Oldenburg, since 1982. This has been in the fields of fine art, sculpture, object art and graphic design. During this time, constantly changing exhibitions in her own house with attached studio, since 2016 in the gallery Arts House Contemporary in the same house.

Kirchhoff has been working as a painter, sculptor, furniture designer and graphic artist since 1982. As a painter, he works expressively between abstraction and figuration, consistently simplified and intensely colored. As a sculptor often constructive, stele-like with characteristic material structures, yet unpainted natural or expressively colorful. As an object designer, his work is recognizably sustainable and reduced to diagonally divided flat rectangular forms.
