Who are we? Armbruster Engineering is an owner-managed company characterized by innovative products, consistent customer loyalty and continuous development. Before founding the company, Norbert Armbruster worked for many years in the research, development and production of assembly automation systems. The need of many customers for controlled, manual assembly gave rise to the idea of offering their own worker assistance system with their own company. This led to the development of a modular system for the „electronic line – connection of assembly lines“ – the later ELAM system.
Technology usage:
The requirements in manual assembly are constantly increasing. Product ranges are being expanded and the number of variants is constantly increasing. As a result, batch sizes are becoming smaller, workstations have to be retooled more frequently and orders have to be completed more quickly. Assisting, visual worker guidance for safe assembly is the answer; quickly adaptable to changing work content and working conditions. ELAM Enterprise production systems are particularly suitable for large infrastructures.
For this, production requires a direct connection to the ERP system and a facility that distributes work documents to workstations.
The ELAM platform provides you with the right modular components for each of your factory areas. Its range of functions and self-explanatory operation make it a valuable helper. The ELAM system also provides documentation of production results and enables you to trace your products. Support your employees and produce large numbers of variants in a controlled, paperless one-piece flow.

ELAM offers you assistance functions and reliable control of process sequences. Minimize the risk of incorrect assembly and specify precise work sequences electronically. For demanding applications, we create ELAM Enterprise - production systems for large infrastructures consisting of servers, workstations and tools. The system architecture is defined in coordination with your specialist departments. ERP systems can be connected. Integrate the ELAM system into your infrastructure. With a connection to your ERP level and firmly anchored to the store floor. Assembly and final inspection can take place at individual workstations, in lines, with mobile workstations or directly on driverless transport systems.
Particularly extensive productions can be expanded to an industrial manufacturing system with the integration of logistics.
