taff! stands for technical training for skilled workers and is an association that is committed to solving these mammoth tasks. With our own training workshop, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, we have laid the perfect foundations for this. This is because we are adding a third pillar to the dual training at school and in the company. Our trainees are supervised by highly qualified trainers at the training center for around 130 days. Even prospective skilled workers who start their training in one of our member companies with a difficult background can be carefully taught the necessary specialist knowledge through intensive support.
taff! not only uses the latest technology for practical training. Thanks to our own e-learning platform and numerous digital learning opportunities, we can provide our trainees with better training that takes their individual learning progress into account. They can deepen their acquired knowledge independently, find additional information and acquire specialist knowledge in areas in which they are particularly interested. Numerous exercises and tests support them in their targeted exam preparation. As the learning software is not only accessible via the learning islands in the training center, but also online via laptops, tablets and smartphones, the content can be accessed conveniently from home, supporting trainees in their own learning rhythm and homeschooling.
With this sophisticated concept in hand, taff! seeks contact with young people. By cooperating with local general education schools, we bring the topic of training closer to the students – in general and not exclusively focused on the metal industry. Experience and understanding play a central role here. We enable those interested to gain their first experience of practical work in the workshop, partly as part of school lessons, but also deliberately outside of school in their free time. In addition, there are internship opportunities and taster days that provide initial insights into everyday working life. taff! acts as a link between the young people on the one hand and the companies on the other. Contacts are established and obstacles are removed.
In addition, taff! also offers small and medium-sized companies the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest technology. As we use state-of-the-art machines together in the training center, it is possible to gain experience in the areas of electrical engineering, warehouse logistics or the automation of merchandise management and then transfer this to your own company. Further development in the area of Industry 4.0 is therefore easier. Employees can participate as equal partners through regular training courses. The taff! offer is therefore not only aimed at member companies: Any interested company can book the modules it needs as required and benefit from our expertise.
Informing young people, filling training positions, retaining and developing skilled workers: Together, with taff! we have set a new beacon in the training landscape in the region – and achieve what any individual company would fail to do on its own.
