Our move in May 2013 was preceded by rapid development. On the one hand, our team of painters had grown so much that our previous location was literally bursting at the seams. On the other hand, we also wanted to be able to offer our customers more service. The new training regulations for painters and varnishers have been in force since August 2003. The previous focal points of the training regulations, painter and varnisher and vehicle painter, are now independent training occupations in the painting and varnishing trade. While vehicle painters and varnishers complete a 3-year training period in the skilled trades with the journeyman's examination and in industrial training with the final examination in accordance with § 25 BBiG (Vocational Training Act), painters and varnishers can choose between the 3-year standard training in accordance with § 25 HwO (Crafts Code) or the 2+1 (years) phased training in accordance with § 26 HwO.
