The air carrier is registered under license number D-188 EG. Aircraft of the type BN-2B-26, Cessna 172R, Cessna 208B and GA8 are used. In accordance with the applicable Regulation (EC) No. 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council and subject to the conditions specified in the certificate of approval, the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, as a continuing airworthiness management organization in accordance with Annex I (Part M) Section A Subpart G of Regulation (EC) No. 2042/2003 the approval to manage the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft listed in the approval list and to issue recommendations and certificates of airworthiness review after airworthiness review according to M.A. 710 of Annex I of Regulation (EC) No. 2042/2003.
The Borkumer Kleinbahn is authorized to carry out the main inspection of its rail vehicles. It is also authorized to carry out safety inspections on buses and trucks as well as exhaust emission tests on all diesel vehicles.
The Inselhotel VierJahresZeiten has been awarded four stars superior as an exclusive hotel by the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) and the Strandhotel VierJahresZeiten has also been awarded four stars for its upscale facilities. The Inselhotel VierJahresZeiten GmbH has also been awarded the "ServiceQualität Niedersachsen" seal of quality. This seal of approval shows guests that the hotel employs staff who provide optimum service on a permanent and systematic basis.
