Norder Band AG is one of the largest and most modern family-run service centers for stainless steel processing in Europe. From the 60,000m² site in Norden, East Frisia, around 80,000 tons of stainless steel are shipped to national and international customers every year.
In 1983, almost 70 years after the patenting of stainless steel, Volker Glave founded NB Norder Bandstahl GmbH. From very small beginnings, the company developed into what it is today. The company was renamed Norder Band AG in June 2017.
Norder Band AG manufactures stainless steel slit strips, sheets and bars according to customer specifications. Its customers include companies in the stainless steel processing industry as well as companies in the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and consumer and capital goods sectors. With modern machinery and perfectly coordinated production processes, stainless, heat-, corrosion- and acid-resistant strip steel is processed with dimensional accuracy and just-in-time.
First-class raw materials, highly qualified employees, modern production facilities, efficient equipment in all departments and, of course, outstanding reliability and adherence to delivery dates are among the factors responsible for a high level of customer satisfaction.
